The Santa Fe Fuego (19-22) and the Trinidad Triggers (25-16) each put runners in scoring position on Wednesday, but the Santa Fe Fuego capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out an 8-5 win at Central Park.

Jimmy Maxwell racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Santa Fe Fuego. He doubled in the first inning and homered in the ninth inning.

Jared Bowser improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Santa Fe Fuego. Bowser struck out none, walked none and gave up no hits.

Zach Leitten (1-4) took the loss for the Trinidad Triggers. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
