Kennard Jones was hot from the plate for the Kansas City T-Bones. Jones went 4-6, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the first, third, and seventh innings and doubled in the tenth inning.
Jhonny Montoya got his first win for the Kansas City T-Bones despite allowing six runs over one inning. Montoya struck out one, walked four and gave up three hits.
Justin Dowdy (0-2) took the loss for the Grand Prairie AirHogs. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
