The Sioux City Explorers pounded the New Jersey Jackals (3-4) on Wednesday 12-4 at Lewis _ Clark Park.

The Sioux City Explorers scored four runs in the sixth on an RBI double by Sam Judah, an RBI double by Peter Barrows, a sacrifice fly by Palmer Karr, , a single by Leugim Barroso, and a single by Adrian Martinez.

The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to five lead changes in the game.

Barrows racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Sioux City Explorers.

The New Jersey Jackals couldn't get anything going as long as Chris was on the mound. The New Jersey Jackals managed just one hit off of Chris, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Jason Jarvis got it done on the rubber on the way to a win. He allowed four runs over six innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered 11 hits.

Kyle Greenwalt (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked three and struck out five.
