The St Paul Saints scored four runs in the first on a two-run double by Craig Brazell, a sacrifice fly by Willie Cabrera, and an RBI single by Brandon Tripp.
Tripp racked up two RBIs on three hits for the St Paul Saints.
Anthony Clagett recorded the win for the St Paul Saints. He allowed two runs over six innings. Clagett struck out three, walked one and gave up eight hits.
Craig Bennigson couldn't get it done on the hill for the New Jersey Jackals, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out three.
