The LI COORS CREW (2-0) blew out the IGA SOFTBALL (0-1) 17-7 on Saturday at Hidden Pond Park two after pouring on nine runs in the fifth inning.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the fifth, with six lead changes.

Dave Pulios racked up three RBIs on two hits for the LI COORS CREW. He singled in the fifth inning and homered in the sixth inning.

Mick Sheridan had two extra-base hits for the IGA SOFTBALL. He singled in the first inning, homered in the fifth inning, and doubled in the sixth inning.

Andrew Zagles got his first win for the LI COORS CREW despite allowing seven runs over six innings. He struck out none, walked three and surrendered 16 hits.

The LI COORS CREW pounded the IGA SOFTBALL pitching, as six hitters combined for 15 hits, 12 RBIs and 10 runs scored.

Charley Frey ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He allowed 17 runs in five innings, walked none and struck out none.
