Angel Bunner improved to 1-3 on the year by picking up the win for the NY NJ Comets. She allowed three runs over seven innings. She struck out three, walked two and surrendered six hits.

Mel Dumezich (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. She lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked five, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
