The Akron Racers (12-20) scored four runs in the seventh to cap an 8-2 win over the NY NJ Comets (5-27) on Thursday.

It was a good day at the plate for the Akron Racers' Kaylyn Castillo. Castillo went 3-4 and scored two runs. She singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

Rachele Fico picked up the win for the Akron Racers. Fico allowed two earned runs, six hits and three walks while striking out three over seven innings of work.

It was a good day at the plate for the NY NJ Comets' Angeline Quiocho. Quiocho went 2-2 and scored two runs. She tripled in the fifth inning and singled in the third and seventh innings.

Olivia Galati (4-8) took the loss for the NY NJ Comets. She allowed eight runs in six innings, walked one and struck out two.
