Alisa Goler went 3-3 at the plate as the Chicago Bandits (9-3) took home a 9-6 victory over the NY NJ Comets (2-10) at Provident Bank Park on Friday.
She doubled in the third inning and singled in the first, third, fifth, and seventh innings.Amanda Kamekona was hot from the plate for the NY NJ Comets. Kamekona went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. She homered in the first inning and singled in the fifth and seventh innings.
Even though Michelle Gascoigne allowed five runs over six innings she still recorded the victory, her first of the season. She struck out six, walked none and surrendered eight hits.
Olivia Galati ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with her fourth loss of the year. She lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
