Mike Ging went 3-3 at the plate as the Mayhem (4-2) took home an 8-5 victory over the FPI (2-2) in seven innings at East Islip Marina Field #4 on Tuesday.
He doubled in the second inning, homered in the fourth inning, and singled in the fifth inning.Pat Adams was solid at the plate for the FPI. Adams went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first, second, and fifth innings.
Ging got his third win for the Mayhem despite allowing five runs over seven innings. Ging struck out none, walked three and gave up 14 hits.
Charlie Russell was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in seven innings, walked two and struck out one.
