The 11779ers scored 11 runs in the sixth on an RBI double by Kevin Reese, a two-run double by Rich Kammarada, an RBI single by Ted Seip, a three-run home run by Anthony Nuara, a solo home run by MikeVacey, a two-run double by Keith Lorenzo, and an RBI single by Reese.
Nuara racked up six RBIs on three hits for the 11779ers.
Mike Handwerker racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Wastons Public House. He homered in the third inning.
Tim Grant improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the 11779ers. He allowed four runs over six innings. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered seven hits.
Handwerker ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed 23 runs in six innings, walked one and struck out none.
