A great effort by Tim Henneborn led the Frozen Ropes (1-0) to a 16-1 win in four innings over the Wastons Public House (0-1) on Friday at Bretton Woods.
Henneborn racked up eight RBIs on three hits for the Frozen Ropes. He homered in the first, second, and third innings.
Fifteen runs in the first three innings helped the Frozen Ropes blow out the Wastons Public House. A three-run home run by Henneborn and a solo home run by Rj Lee during the first inning and a solo home run by Steve Viniotis, a two-run home run by Cody Koolo, a three-run home run by Henneborn, and a groundout by Rich Jensen in the second inning fueled the Frozen Ropes' offense early.
Bill Kouba was solid at the plate for the Wastons Public House. Kouba went 2-2, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first inning and homered in the fourth inning.
The Frozen Ropes hammered the Wastons Public House pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 15 hits, 14 RBIs and 14 runs scored.
