Three first-inning runs helped the AAA Angels (3-0) to a 3-1 win over the AAA Giants (1-3) at Optimist #4 on Monday.

The AAA Angels staved off the AAA Giants as the AAA Giants were unable to match the AAA Angels down the stretch.

The AAA Giants scored one run in the second on a double by Declan Quinn. Still, the AAA Giants couldn't draw even.

Devan Constance reached base two times in the game for the AAA Angels. He tripled in the first inning.

Michael Heaton handled the AAA Giants' lineup with ease, racking up seven strikeouts. Heaton allowed no earned runs on three hits and one walk over seven innings.
