Patrick McLendon went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Brazos Valley Bombers. He singled in the third, fifth, and eighth innings.
Brandon Bergen got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out five, walked four and surrendered four hits.
The Brazos Valley Bombers pounded the Acadiana Cane Cutters pitching, as six hitters combined for 11 hits, 11 RBIs and 15 runs scored.
