Pitchers had a tough day during the game between the Brothers Oven (9-2) and the Newport (5-6), as the two teams put up 19 runs combined in a 10-9 the Brothers Oven win.

The teams totaled 27 hits in the game.

Robert Reyes went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Brothers Oven. He singled in the first and second innings and doubled in the fifth inning.

Tyler Corsi improved to 3-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Brothers Oven. He allowed two runs over 2 1/3 innings. Corsi struck out one, walked one and gave up five hits.

Matt Rogers (0-1) took the loss for the Newport. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed no runs.
