Jake Eikleberry tossed a shutout to lift the Slippery Rock Sliders (28-32) to a 4-0 win over the Butler Blue Sox at Pullman Park.

The Slippery Rock Sliders' Eikleberry kept the Butler Blue Sox (33-26) off the scoreboard for all nine innings he was on the hill. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on nine hits while striking out eight.

Dan Palazzo went a perfect 3-3 at the dish for the Slippery Rock Sliders. He tripled in the third inning and singled in the seventh and ninth innings.

It was a good day at the plate for the Butler Blue Sox's Zarley Zalewski. Zalewski went 2-3. He tripled in the fifth inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Robert Hawkins (3-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
