The game between the Terre Haute Rex (21-22) and the Terre Haute Rex went into extra innings, but when the last out was recorded the Terre Haute Rex emerged with a 11-7 victory.

With the score tied at seven, Tyler Wampler came to the plate and doubled, scoring Evan Heptig.

Kyle Kempf put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Terre Haute Rex. He doubled in the fourth inning.

Louis Cohen looked sharp on the mound. The Springfield Sliders (6-34) managed just three hits off of the the Terre Haute Rex's pitcher, who allowed two earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his six innings of work.

Jake Ingold racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Springfield Sliders. He singled in the second inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Josh Dove recorded his first win of the year for the Terre Haute Rex. He struck out three, walked three and surrendered one hit.

Erik Johansen was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed four runs.

Kempf, Cody Gardner, Atlee Schwab and Andrew Cope helped lead the Terre Haute Rex. They combined for nine hits and eight RBIs.
