The Butler Blue Sox (24-18) beat the Chillicothe Paints (23-17) 6-5 but needed 14 innings to do so on Saturday at Pullman Park.

With the score tied at four in the tenth inning, Austin Mooney came to the plate and singled, plating Nick Lombardi.

Alex Jurich racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Butler Blue Sox. He singled in the tenth inning and homered in the fourteenth inning.

Andrew Doring handled the Chillicothe Paints' lineup with ease, racking up eight strikeouts. Doring allowed two earned runs, two hits and three walks over five innings.

Mooney went a perfect 2-2 at the plate for the Chillicothe Paints. He singled in the fifth, seventh, tenth, and twelfth innings.

Reid Noah improved to 4-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Butler Blue Sox. Noah struck out one, walked none and gave up no hits.

Tito Nava ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out five, and allowed one run.
