Troy Conyers hopes every outing could go as well as Friday, as Conyers pitched six shutout innings to carry the Danville Dans (27-11) to a 7-1 victory over the Springfield Sliders (6-32) at Robin Roberts Field.

Josh Miller racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Danville Dans. He tripled in the seventh inning and singled in the ninth inning.

TR Dunne (1-5) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
