Quinton Yocom kept the Chillicothe Paints (23-15) off the board during his seven innings of work and the West Virginia Miners (25-15) beat the Chillicothe Paints, 2-0.

Yocom allowed six hits, three walks and struck out 10.

Kenny May racked up two RBIs on three hits for the West Virginia Miners. He singled in the third, fifth, and ninth innings.

Sam Hunter recorded his first win of the year for the West Virginia Miners. Hunter struck out two, walked one and gave up one hit.

Greg Greve (2-2) took the loss for the Chillicothe Paints. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
