The Lorain County Ironmen (15-21) built an early edge on Sunday, but the Butler Blue Sox (19-17) roared back to steal a 6-2 victory at Pullman Park.
While the Lorain County Ironmen led until the seventh inning, the Butler Blue Sox worked their way back and took the lead on a two-run error.
Tyler Detmer paced the Butler Blue Sox at the plate. Detmer went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second and fourth innings and doubled in the eighth inning.
Jon Anderson got the win for the Butler Blue Sox thanks to seven strikeouts. Anderson allowed two earned runs, three hits and three walks over eight innings.
Jake Post (1-2) took the loss for the Lorain County Ironmen. He lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
