The Danville Dans (22-11) took down the Terre Haute Rex (19-15) 7-1 on Saturday at Bob Warn Field at Sycamore Stad after slamming the Terre Haute Rex with four runs in the fifth inning.

Casey Fletcher did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Danville Dans, reaching base four times. He scored three runs and had one RBI. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Spencer Herrmann looked sharp on the mound. Herrmann gave up just three hits, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four during his six innings of work.

Taylor Krugh (0-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
