The Hannibal Cavemen (13-14) built an early lead against the Springfield Sliders (4-22), scoring three runs in the first inning, en route to a 4-2 win on Saturday at Clemens Field.

Josh Tols picked up the win for the Hannibal Cavemen. Tols pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and three walks while striking out four.

Derek Schneider couldn't get it done on the mound for the Springfield Sliders, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
