Kyle Halbohn held the Chillicothe Paints (16-13) scoreless for seven innings to boost the Slippery Rock Sliders (15-14) to a 3-1 victory.

Halbohn allowed two hits, one walk and struck out three.

Matthew Calhoun paced the Slippery Rock Sliders at the plate. Calhoun went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the ninth inning.

Daniel Zuchowski was solid at the plate for the Chillicothe Paints. Zuchowski went 2-4 and drove in one. He singled in the sixth inning and tripled in the eighth inning.

Steve Laudicina (5-1) took the loss for the Chillicothe Paints. He lasted just seven innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed two runs.
