The West Virginia Miners (13-12) beat the Lorain County Ironmen 10-2 on Tuesday thanks to a six-run seventh inning.

Zach Woolcock racked up three RBIs on two hits for the West Virginia Miners. He homered in the first inning and tripled in the seventh inning.

Pat Kregeloh got the win for the West Virginia Miners thanks to seven strikeouts. Kregeloh allowed two earned runs on six hits and two walks over six innings.

A bright spot for the Lorain County Ironmen (10-15) in the defeat was Cam Knott, who allowed only three runs while striking out eight.

Knott couldn't get it done on the hill for the Lorain County Ironmen, taking a loss.

The West Virginia Miners hammered the Lorain County Ironmen pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 12 hits, nine RBIs and seven runs scored.
