He singled in the first and third innings.Ryan Akins racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Richmond RiverRats. He doubled in the fourth and seventh innings.
Luke McGee looked sharp on the mound. The Chillicothe Paints managed just one hit off of McGee, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his three innings of work.
Steve Laudicina got the win, running his season record to 5-0. He allowed two runs over five innings. Laudicina struck out three, walked three and gave up three hits.
