A walk-off sacrifice fly from Andrew Buddle brought home the winning run for the Danville Dans (9-5) in a 5-4 victory over the Terre Haute Rex in 15 innings at Danville Stadium on Saturday.
Buddle reached base two times. He also drove in one runner.
Casey Fletcher led the Danville Dans' offensive threat, as he got on base six times in the game. He singled in the sixth, eleventh, and fifteenth innings.
Corbin Olmstead improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Danville Dans. He allowed one run over four innings. Olmstead struck out six, walked one and gave up three hits.
John Patterson (1-1) took the loss for the Terre Haute Rex (10-5). He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed no runs.
