Jon Anderson kept the Lorain County Ironmen (7-9) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Butler Blue Sox (9-7) beat the Lorain County Ironmen, 8-0.

Anderson struck out six and allowed three walks and five hits.

The Butler Blue Sox's bats came to life in the third inning. In the inning the Butler Blue Sox scored five runs.

It was a good day at the plate for the Butler Blue Sox's Taylor Schmidt. Schmidt went 2-4 and scored one run. He singled in the third and fourth innings.

Caleb Schillace was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out four.
