A walk-off double from Matt Peters brought home the winning run for the Butler Blue Sox (8-7) in a 3-2 victory over the Lorain County Ironmen (7-8) in 14 innings at Pullman Park on Thursday.

Peters was hot from the plate for the Butler Blue Sox. Peters went 1-7, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the fourteenth inning.

GJ Senchak pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, six hits and one walk while striking out five.

Adam Tyson recorded his first win of the year for the Butler Blue Sox. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Anthony Nemer ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
