The Richmond RiverRats (7-7) didn't put up much of a fight on Wednesday, as the Lorain County Ironmen (7-7) cruised to a blowout 10-4 win at The Pipe Yard.
The Lorain County Ironmen scored five runs in the first on a sacrifice fly by Scott Splett, an error, an RBI single by Rey Carrion, an RBI single by Carrion, and a two-run single by Billy Salem.
Tyler Coughenour reached base three times. He singled in the first and eighth innings.
Cam Knott improved to 3-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Lorain County Ironmen. He allowed three runs over six innings. Knott struck out four, walked three and gave up nine hits.
Tyler Miller (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed eight runs in four innings, walked one and struck out three.
