The Slippery Rock Sliders (5-6) outlasted the Lorain County Ironmen (5-6) on Saturday after five lead changes, squeaking out a 3-2 win at The Pipe Yard.

Dan Hurlimann got on base three times in the game for the Slippery Rock Sliders. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the sixth inning.

Kevin Becker-Menditto looked sharp on the mound. Becker-Menditto held the Lorain County Ironmen hitless over 2 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Tyler Coughenour was solid at the plate for the Lorain County Ironmen. Coughenour went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first and fifth innings.

Daniel Kopcak (0-2) took the loss for the Lorain County Ironmen. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed no runs.
