Jaesung Hwang kept the Butler Blue Sox (3-3) off the board during his seven innings of work and the West Virginia Miners (2-4) beat the Butler Blue Sox, 6-0.

Hwang struck out four and allowed no walks and three hits.

Everything was working at the plate for the the West Virginia Miners in the fifth. The West Virginia Miners' bats caught fire leading to five runs.

Dale Davis had a hot bat for the West Virginia Miners. Davis went 3-5 and scored one run. He singled in the first, fifth, and eighth innings.

Jon Anderson couldn't get it done on the hill for the Butler Blue Sox, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
