Forrest Brandt went 2-3 and hit a home run, helping the Lake Norman Copperheads (10-8) to a 3-1 victory over the Carolina Chaos (6-10) on Saturday at Hopewell HS.
He singled in the third inning and homered in the sixth inning.The Carolina Chaos' lineup had no answer for Blaise Whitman. The Carolina Chaos managed just three hits off of Whitman, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four during his six innings of work.
Tim OCallaghan (1-2) took the loss for the Carolina Chaos. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
