Tommy Beritzhoss collected three hits, sparking the Tri-Valley Bercovich (13-14) to a 5-1 victory over the Nevada Big Horns (11-15) on Saturday at Granada High School.

The Tri-Valley Bercovich relied on John Tierney to eat up innings en route to the win. Tierney allowed one earned run, five hits and three walks while striking out six over eight innings of work.

Sam Eichler (2-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just seven innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
