The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (15-17) didn't stand a chance on Saturday, as the Bourne Braves (16-15) captured a blowout 8-1 win at Doran Park.

The Bourne Braves scored four runs in the second on , a sacrifice fly by Tim Caputo, an RBI single by Bobby Boyd, an RBI double by Eric Fisher, and a single by Clinton Freeman.

Freeman had two extra-base hits for the Bourne Braves.

Ryan Kellogg racked up three strikeouts in the the Bourne Braves win. Kellogg allowed one earned run on four hits and one walk over five innings.

Auston Bousfield got on base three times in the game for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox. He singled in the fifth inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Jose Lopez was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed five runs.

The Bourne Braves' Boyd, Fisher, Mark Laird and Freeman combined for 11 hits and six RBIs.
