A great effort by Brandon Magallones hoisted the Falmouth Commodores (15-9) to a 5-0 win over the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (12-13) on Saturday at Red Wilson Field.

The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox couldn't get anything going as long as Magallones was on the mound. The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox managed just one hit off of Magallones, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his seven innings of work.

Casey Gillaspie reached base three times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the first inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Kevin McAvoy (1-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
