Andrew Davis had two extra base hits as the Lake Erie Crushers (48-31) took home a 5-1 victory over the Frontier Greys (28-51) at All Pro Freight Stadium on Friday.
He tripled in the fourth inning and homered in the eighth inning.Alex Kaminsky picked up the win for the Lake Erie Crushers. Kaminsky pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, six hits and two walks while striking out three.
Despite the loss, the Frontier Greys' Jonathan Kountis dominated the Lake Erie Crushers' batters, giving up three runs and striking out six.
Brock McCallister had a hot bat for the Frontier Greys. McCallister went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the second inning.
