Pitchers had a tough day during the game between the Windy City ThunderBolts (32-39) and the Frontier Greys (26-45), as the two teams put up 17 runs combined in a 9-8 the Windy City ThunderBolts win.

The teams totaled 24 hits in the game.

Kyle Robinson had a busy day at the plate, collecting three extra-base hits. He singled in the first and fifth innings, homered in the eighth inning, and doubled in the third and ninth innings.

A bright spot for the Frontier Greys in the defeat was Kyle Brady, who allowed only one run while striking out six.

Michael Click recorded his second win of the year for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He allowed three runs over one inning. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered two hits.

Bryce Shafer ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.

The Windy City ThunderBolts' Robinson, Mike Torres and Evan Button combined for nine hits and six RBIs.
