A walk-off solo home run from Steven Liddle brought home the winning run for the Southern Illinois Miners (29-21) in a 3-2 victory over the River City Rascals in 13 innings at Rent One Park, Marion, Illinois on Saturday.

Liddle racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Southern Illinois Miners. He singled in the fifth inning and homered in the thirteenth inning.

Race Parmenter got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered two hits.

Nick Kennedy (2-2) took the loss for the River City Rascals (21-29). He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
