Seth Granger went 2-3 as the Lake Erie Crushers (26-25) took home a 4-1 victory over the Frontier Greys (19-32) at All Pro Freight Stadium on Saturday.
He singled in the second inning and tripled in the seventh inning.The Lake Erie Crushers relied on Matt Rein to eat up innings en route to the win. Rein allowed no earned runs, seven hits and three walks while striking out four over seven innings of work.
Joe Zeller ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fifth loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
