Cory Harrilchak had a hot bat for the Southern Illinois Miners. Harrilchak went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the second inning and singled in the sixth inning.
Even though Daniel Cropper allowed five runs over six innings he still recorded the victory, his fifth of the season. Cropper struck out four, walked one and gave up seven hits.
Jon Mark Abbey (0-1) took the loss for the Southern Illinois Miners. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
