The Frontier Greys (17-28) took down the Joliet Slammers 7-1 on Tuesday at Silver Cross Field after slamming the Joliet Slammers (19-27) with six runs in the fifth inning.

The Joliet Slammers had the lead early, but couldn't hold off the Frontier Greys. The Joliet Slammers were ahead until the fifth inning, but the Frontier Greys would not be denied the win, taking the lead back on a groundout by Justin Vasquez.

Balbino Fuenmayor racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Frontier Greys. He homered in the fifth inning.

Joe Zeller picked up the win for the Frontier Greys. Zeller pitched seven innings and allowed no earned runs, four hits and two walks while striking out five.

Chuck Lofgren ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked two and struck out three.
