Johnny Morales had two extra base hits, helping the River City Rascals (16-23) to a 5-3 victory over the Traverse City Beach Bums (25-15) on Tuesday at Wuerfel Park.

The River City Rascals' lineup had no answer for Chris Squires. Squires held the River City Rascals hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four.

Craig Goodman improved to 2-3 on the year by picking up the win for the River City Rascals. He allowed three runs over 5 2/3 innings. Goodman struck out five, walked two and gave up five hits.

Jake Sabol was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just 6 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
