Sunday was a great day for Drew Rucinski, as Rucinski threw seven scoreless innings to carry the Rockford Aviators (7-25) to a 2-1 victory over the Windy City ThunderBolts (13-21) at Standard Bank Stadium.

The Rockford Aviators were led by Matt Greener's hitting. Greener went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the second inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Travis Strong (1-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out seven, and allowed one run.
