The Eau Claire Express' offense erupts for 18 runs in blowout victory over the Green Bay Bullfrogs

The Eau Claire Express (4-10) continued to pile up the runs on Wednesday, scoring eight runs in the last three innings, on the way to an 18-3 landslide win over the Green Bay Bullfrogs (6-9) at Joannes Stadium.

The Eau Claire Express scored eight runs in the eighth on a two-run single by Tyler Hermann, an RBI double by Blake Schmidt, a groundout by Parker Zimmerman, an RBI single by Brian Sicher, and a three-run triple by Daniel Kihle.

Schmidt racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Eau Claire Express.

It was a good day at the plate for the Green Bay Bullfrogs' Jack Parenty. Parenty went 2-3, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the third inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Will Kenny got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He allowed one run over six innings. Kenny struck out three, walked two and gave up eight hits.

Brian Trieglaff ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in three innings, walked none and struck out none.

The Eau Claire Express pounded the Green Bay Bullfrogs pitching, as seven hitters combined for 13 hits, 15 RBIs and 16 runs scored.
