Brandon DeFazio drove in the go-ahead run to give the La Crosse Loggers (8-5) the lead in the seventh inning, as the La Crosse Loggers hung on to beat the Eau Claire Express (3-9) 10-7 on Monday.
After Mike Nadratowski singled, DeFazio came to the plate with the score tied at seven in the seventh inning, and singled, bringing home Nadratowski.Bobby Juan racked up two RBIs on two hits for the La Crosse Loggers. He singled in the third inning and homered in the fifth inning.
Michael Lowden pitched lights out for the La Crosse Loggers. Lowden held the Eau Claire Express hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.
A bright spot for the Eau Claire Express in the defeat was Matt Trowbridge, who allowed only one run while striking out five.
