A ground out, scoring Jordan Winawer gave the Battle Creek Bombers (4-2) the lead in the sixth inning, and the Battle Creek Bombers hung on to beat the Lakeshore Chinooks (1-4) 3-0 on Sunday.

Mike Mancuso baffled the Lakeshore Chinooks, striking out three batters. The Battle Creek Bombers' pitcher gave up just four hits over five shutout innings.

Kenton San Miguel recorded his first win of the year for the Battle Creek Bombers. San Miguel struck out two, walked none and gave up no hits.

Eric Anderson (0-1) took the loss for the Lakeshore Chinooks. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed two runs.
