After seven lead changes in Saturday's game at C.O. Brown Stadium, the Eau Claire Express (1-4) finally pulled out a 6-5 win over the Battle Creek Bombers (4-2).

The Eau Claire Express finally managed to grab the lead after a strong ninth inning. An error scored Mike Porcaro and gave the Eau Claire Express the lead for good.

Porcaro racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Eau Claire Express. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the third and seventh innings.

The Battle Creek Bombers couldn't get anything going as long as Peter Hendron was on the mound. The Battle Creek Bombers managed just two hits off of Hendron, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his three innings of work.

Cam Gibson racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Battle Creek Bombers. He singled in the first, fourth, and sixth innings.

Zack Waters was charged with the loss. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
