Youngdahl leads the Green Bay Bullfrogs to 4-3 victory

Robert Youngdahl came up big at the dish and on the bump, leading the Green Bay Bullfrogs (6-7) to a 4-3 win over the Wisconsin Woodchucks on Wednesday at Athletic Park.

Youngdahl racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Green Bay Bullfrogs. He homered in the fifth inning.

Youngdahl got the win for the Green Bay Bullfrogs thanks to eight strikeouts. Youngdahl allowed three earned runs, six hits and three walks over eight innings.

The Green Bay Bullfrogs would not relinquish the lead as the Wisconsin Woodchucks (7-5) were unable to weather a three-run sixth inning deficit.

The Wisconsin Woodchucks scored two runs in the seventh on an RBI double by Matt Tellor and an RBI triple by Garrett Rucker. Despite their efforts, the Wisconsin Woodchucks couldn't finish the comeback.

Rucker had a hot bat for the Wisconsin Woodchucks. Rucker went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the third innings and tripled in the seventh inning.

Henry Weiler couldn't get it done on the hill for the Wisconsin Woodchucks, taking a loss. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
