An outstanding effort by Jon Myers hoisted the Gateway Grizzlies (14-7) to a 15-1 win over the Frontier Greys (9-12) on Tuesday at GCS Ballpark.

Myers rocked the Frontier Greys with two home runs. Myers went 4-4 in the game with four RBIs and three runs scored. Myers homered in the third and fifth innings.

Everything was working at the plate for the the Gateway Grizzlies in the fifth. In the inning the Gateway Grizzlies scored eight runs.

JaVaun West had an impressive outing against the Frontier Greys' lineup. West gave up just two hits, allowed one earned run, walked four and struck out three during his six innings of work.

Matt Costello (0-2) took the loss for the Frontier Greys. He allowed seven runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out three.

The Gateway Grizzlies easily handled the Frontier Greys pitching as six hitters combined for 13 hits, 13 RBIs and 13 runs scored.
