The Windy City ThunderBolts (6-15) took down the Rockford Aviators (3-16) 15-6 on Saturday at Aviator Stadium after slamming the Rockford Aviators with eight runs in the first inning.

Ryan Soares racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He doubled in the first and eighth innings.

Mike Recchia got the win, running his season record to 1-3. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out seven, walked five and surrendered five hits.

Nick Anderson (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed eight runs in two-thirds of an inning, walked one and struck out none.
